Last but not least I enjoyed four amazing days in the fabulous city Manhattan. I've been there before two years ago but it's always a pleasure to visit this town. On the right hand of my hotel there was Macy's. The biggest shopping mall in the world (but to be honest it was too big with toooooo many clothes in it. I prefer smaller stores with a large, but manageable, range of garments) on the other hand there was the 5th avenue. However, there is sooo much more to explorer and so many other good streets / addresses while you are shopping. Two days I just walked around Manhattan enjoyed this town to the full and shopped a little bit. It's really gorgeous.
Besides shopping I did - of course - some sightseeing as climbing up the Rockefeller (it's better and the view is more beautiful than the Empire's which I did two years ago), saying hello to the Statue of Libery and Ellis Island, walking on the Brooklyn Bridge, taking a walk in the Cenral Park and going to Times Square by night. I also had the pleasure to meet a new friend. Together with Laura I had one of my most amazing evenings ever. We sat on a rooftop and had an stunning (gorgeous, amazing and marvelous) view of the sparkling skyline of Manhattan (especially of the Empire which was directly in front of us).
While I am writing this I got wanderlust again. In comparison to my entertaining days I've spent there my life back in Germany seems to be more boring as it had been before...
Well, well... tomorrow there will be a special post about a special occasion in NYC.
