Mariloé à Philadelphia

After spending four days in Washington I moved forward to Philadelphia for one and a half day. We arrived at 3 p.m. at our hotel which was located more outside of the city. As we were driving to the city for the first time I was kind of shocked as I recognized a landscape full of industry on my left and right side. Fortunately, downtown was far away from this. However, there were more homeless on the streets compared to the other cities I've visited (and that always makes me a little bit sad).
Well, let's get back to the half day as we arrived. After checking-in we drove to an outlet located 30 minutes away. It was paradise! I loved it there and the prices were great (shopping haul at the end of the city reviews).
On the second day we climbed up the famous Rocky steps and took a walk through downtown.  In the evening  we tried out T.G.I. Friday's  (eating like a resident) and the steak was delicious (you'll recognize that I am a total steak lover in the next two posts ).
Philadelphia was nice to see but it's not on my list of my fave cities.
Bisous,
...MARILOÉ
